I sent in a white lower to be anodized. It took about 6 weeks to get it back, but wow, they did a great job. The color is very uniform throughout, no shading or nicks or dings. The finish is a smooth, silky matte which is great. The price is a bargain. Overall, I am very, very impressed with the results. Great work, folks. I’ll be sending more, no doubt about that.

If the lowers are sent in from an individual's private address, then they are treated as a repair and returned directly to that individual's address once the anodizing is completed.

This service is currently only offered for AR style upper and lower receivers, no component build parts at this time.  The anodizing process does not allow for partial parts to be finished.  It's all of the receiver.  We recommend Cerakote, as it allows for some portions to be masked off, but not the anodizing process.

We recommend purchasing the service twice for each receiver.  One will cover stripping and blasting and the other covers the ano service.

When we have our lowers anodized, we specify .002 build (.001 in/.001 out), but we also lose .0012 during acid etch, so we machine to our desired post-ano dimension.

We would strip your current finish off and prep to bare metal before anodizing regardless.

Yes.  No Problem.  As long as the FCG is solid and doesn't have any of the 3 FCG holes drilled in it.

We can do any types, as long as its completely stripped down.  You have to also ensure its an aluminum receiver as Mossberg has made both Steel and Aluminum receivers.  A better option may be cerakote in your case, to be honest.  Depending on what type of aluminum was used (they have used many grades including cast) you may not get the finish you desire from anodizing.

Not unless it is engraved with the proper information as stated in the product description.

The min ATF depth of .003" is suitable but of course, the deeper the better.

No, I'm sorry, we can't.  Because of many variables in the metal and how various finishing processes change the characteristics of it, your best bet for matching the "Colt Grey" would be Cerakote.
